Support Sales was founded in March of 2001 by Kenneth R. Ward. The premise of Support Sales at the time was to offer assistance for “Hard to Find” Industrial Products which Maintenance, Engineering and Buyers needed help with.
Our initial response from our customers was magnificent and soon our customers asked us to become more involved in their day to day products needed. With careful and calculated moves to become a distributor of these products, Support Sales has positioned itself as one of the leading suppliers in many different markets and considered by some to be their products and services supplier of choice.
Support Sales is a one of a kind company offering products and services that most companies in our industry refuse to offer. We can supply products ranging from Filtration to Electrical to Instrumentation. In this day of scaled down workforces, we have become a trusted “Single Source” vendor for our customers. The question we ask potential customers is why generate 6 different purchase orders when you can provide one to Support Sales and we do the rest!! We are not a reseller of goods. A reseller just buys and resells the product as is. Support Sales has distributor discounts set in place which makes us as competitive as a Manufacturer direct. We negotiate our pricing vigorously with all the Manufacturers to get the best cost possible to our customer. We also offer our engineering help in offering cost saving alternatives to what is being sourced. If we can offer something that is Form, Fit and Function the same as what our customer has bought in the past, save them up to 30% on an alternate product, we do just that! Our staff is versed is all facets of Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Healthcare, Research and Development and many other facilities and applications we serve.
The one aspect of the Industry we saw lacking was the customer service factor. Support Sales prefers to deal direct with the customer on a personal level. Emails are great however we still enjoy saying “Hello, and how was your weekend” to our customer base. It’s a lost art in the Distribution chain that we consider ourselves the best at.
